10,000!

Woo hoo! Sometime today, before 4:30 Central Daylight Savings Time, my site meter registered 10,000 visitors!

While you're here, don a party hat to celebrate with me.

And one question I've had ever since I put a site meter on my blog in September 2007:

Who the heck lives in far northern Canada and is reading my blog? Can you give me a shout in the comments? Please?

Glad to see your blog. Check out the Quakers in Cincinnati blog with some postings focusing on Racial Harmony... Any thoughts about the intersection of race and class?? Or better yet, any real life-changing encounters?

Sorry, deleted a duplicate post!

I have blogged about it. But now I'm convinced that until the RSoF faces up to social class, we aren't going to be able to heal racism in the RSoF.

And there's a ton of overlap between racism and classism. I recently had a about a new take on "unpacking the invisible knapsack" from classism.org. On another blog, there were a lot of comments about the intersection of class and race, and I think we in the RSoF need to take heed.

Happy 10,000 Jeanne! Has the person from Canada ever contacted you?

Cath,

NO, I haven't heard from the person in Canada. S/he hasn't been on in a while. Wouldn't it be cool if there were a Quaker Meeting way up there in the Arctic circle on Hudson Bay?

When are YOU going to start writing a blog?

:-)

Jeanne--I AM going to start a blog. :) But first....my mother is dying (not a good time right now). Also, various other things are going on.

However, doing a blog is completely within the scope of a leading for which I've gone through clearness. So, when life is not so heavy, I will launch my blog.
